Change your forgotten access code in GoToMyPC
You can reset or create a new access code to connect to your remote Windows or Mac host computer. To do so, you need to be physically at the remote host computer.
Your access code resides only on your host computer, and it is never transmitted over the internet. It is a critical component in the encryption key that is used to keep your host computer secure. For security reasons,
GoToMyPC does not have a record of your access code and has no way to provide it to you if you forget it while traveling. Since it cannot be emailed, you must be physically present at the host computer to create a new access code.
Important: Account passwords and computer access codes are not the same. If you need to change or reset your account password, view Change or reset your GoToMyPC account password.
Note: Your administrator may require you to change your access code on a regular basis if you are on a Pro or Corporate plan.
