Grant permission to your host computer on macOS
Before using GoToMyPC from a macOS environment, you need to grant three permission requests and adjust a battery setting for GoToMyPC on your Mac’s System Settings.
These permissions and settings are:
- Screen recording
- Accessibility
- Automation
- Battery
This applies to all macOS versions, and they need to be granted once.
Note: With macOS Sequoia, end-users must regularly reauthorize permissions for screen recording apps. This means end-users will see pop-ups prompting them to review and approve screen recording permissions. When the pop-up appears, select Allow For One Month to let GoToMyPC function normally, or open System Settings to manage your screen recording options.
When the above permissions are not granted, the ’Required permissions’ dialog box pops up on your Mac, and provides an easily accessible way take the necessary steps.
