Integrate with RADIUS

If you are a GoToMyPC Corporate user, your administrator may configure your GoToMyPC Corporate account to integrate with RADIUS. The RADIUS feature is only available on host PCs; however, RADIUS authentication is available from your iPad and Mac clients.

RADIUS is a two-factor authentication method based on something you know (a password or PIN) and something you have (an authenticator), providing a more robust level of user authentication. Use of RADIUS will prompt you to enter your RADIUS credential (PIN and token code) after your access code each time you access the host PC. RADIUS integration is only available if your administrator has required the use of RADIUS. This option will not appear to users who are not configured to use RADIUS. Before you can configure your host PC with RADIUS, your administrator must enable the option. Your administrator may choose to configure your host PC for you.

Configure RADIUS on your host PC

  1. While physically present at your host PC, select the system tray icon.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Under the Authentication tab, select Configure RADIUS.

Result: The Configure RADIUS window opens.

  4. Under RADIUS servers, enter the RADIUS server hostname or IP address and select Add.
  5. Enter your RADIUS user name (name of the user in the RADIUS database).
  6. Enter the RADIUS encryption key (provided by the system administrator).
  7. Select Test Configuration.
  8. When finished with configuration and testing, select OK.

Connect to your host PC with RADIUS

  1. Sign in to www.GoToMyPC.com.
  2. From the My Computers page, select the computer you want to access and select Connect.
  3. If prompted, select Run, Always, Allow or Trust to download the GoToMyPC Corporate Viewer.
  4. When prompted, enter your access code and your RADIUS credentials ( your PIN and token code) and select OK.

Results: You are now connected to your host PC and ready to start accessing all your files, applications and email.

Disable RADIUS

  1. While physically present at your host PC, select the system tray icon and select Preferences.
  2. Under the Authentication tab, select Disable RADIUS.
  3. Change your access code and select OK.
  4. On the GoToMyPC Corporate Preferences dialog box, select OK.

Performing search in the RADIUS Domain

  1. Sign in at https://www.GoToMyPC.com/members/login.tmpl with your administrator email address and password.
  2. If prompted between End User Account and Company Manager Accounts select on the bubble next to the company name in question.
  3. Select Manage Account.
  4. Select RADIUS Domain.
  5. Select User names and Shared Secrets to open the search screen.
  6. Select your search criteria next to the Search button.
    • Email - narrow you search based on the email address of the users.
    • Group - narrow your search results by typing in the name of a group.
    • All - you list all of the users.
Note: This option is not recommended for organizations having thousands of users.
  7. Select the green arrow next to the user whose parameters you wish to change.
