Remotely unlock your GoToMyPC host computer

In most cases, you need to enter your system password to unlock your computer after you have successfully connected to your Windows or Mac host.

Here's how to unlock a Windows 7 or Windows 8 host:
  1. Send a Ctrl-Alt-Del key combination to the host computer in one of the following ways:
    • From the Viewer menu, select the Send Ctrl-Alt-Del button.
    • Choose Tools and then select Send Ctrl-Alt-Del.
  2. Enter your Windows ID and password to unlock your Windows PC as you normally would.
Note: If the Send Ctrl-Alt-Del feature is not working on a Windows 7 host computer, Secure Attention Sequence (SAS) may be disabled. For more information, see Using Send Ctrl+Alt+Delete on your GoToMyPC host computer.
