Set up TLS in your browser

Update your web browser to the most recent version. You can find information on how to do so on the browser's support site:

  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari

Most browsers automatically enable TLS in later versions, otherwise do the following to enable TLS:

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
  2. In the address bar, type about:config and press Enter.
  3. Find and select security.tls.version.max.
  4. Set the integer value to 4 to force a maximum protocol of TLS 1.3.
  5. Select OK.
  6. Close your browser and restart Mozilla Firefox.

Google Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. In the address bar, type chrome://flags and press Enter.
  3. Use Ctrl + F to find TLS 1.3.
  4. Select Default or Enabled from the dropdown menu.
  5. Close your browser and restart Google Chrome.
