Set up TLS in your browser
Update your web browser to the most recent version. You can find information on how to do so on the browser's support site:
Most browsers automatically enable TLS in later versions, otherwise do the following to enable TLS:
Mozilla Firefox
- Open Mozilla Firefox.
- In the address bar, type about:config and press Enter.
- Find and select security.tls.version.max.
- Set the integer value to 4 to force a maximum protocol of TLS 1.3.
- Select OK.
- Close your browser and restart Mozilla Firefox.
Google Chrome
- Open Google Chrome.
- In the address bar, type chrome://flags and press Enter.
- Use Ctrl + F to find TLS 1.3.
- Select Default or Enabled from the dropdown menu.
- Close your browser and restart Google Chrome.
