Using Microsoft Entra ID and Single Sign-On with GoToMyPC

Integrate Microsoft Entra (formerly known as Azure Active Directory) with GoToMyPC for additional authentication.

Before you begin:

Prerequisites:

  • A Microsoft Entra Premium subscription.
  • An active GoToMyPC subscription.

Configure your Microsoft Entra ID Account

  1. Log in to https://portal.azure.com. Navigate to Microsoft Entra ID > Enterprise Applications > New application.
  2. Select Non-gallery application.
  3. Give the new application a name and select Add.
  4. Select Single sign-on > SAML.
  5. Under Basic SAML Configuration, set the following values:
    Identifier (Entity ID): The same that you specified in Azure
    Reply URL: https://prod.sso.gotomypc.com/SSOService/saml
    LogOut URL: https://prod.sso.gotomypc.com/SSOService/samllogout
  6. Select Save.
  7. Under SAML Signing Certificate, download the Certificate (Raw) and Federated Metadata XML.

Allow Data to be sent to GoTo

Note: The following claims are required by GoTo, but they are usually part of the default Microsoft Entra SAML configuration. The following claims must be included in the User Attributes & Claims configuration.
  1. Log in to https://portal.azure.com.
  2. Navigate to Microsoft Entra ID > Enterprise Applications > All applications.
  3. Select the previously configured application name.
  4. Next to User Attributes & Claims, select the edit icon.
  5. Under Claim Name, the following information is required:
    Name Description Full Schema Address
    Email The email address you registered with GoTo http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/emailaddress
    Given name Your first/given name http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/givenname
    Surname Your surname http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/surname

Configure SSO in your GoToMyPC Account

  1. Log in to your GoToMyPC Company Manager account.
  2. Select Single Sign-On from the left-hand menu.
  3. Select Azure or Microsoft Entra as the IDP.
  4. Enter your Tenant ID.
  5. Enter https://login.microsoftonline.com as the SSOUrl, unless you have customized and set a different URL.
  6. Enter your Entity ID.
  7. Select Save Changes.
