What's new in the desktop app (2024.09.4154 - Client App) - September 12, 2024
- We fixed an issue where the Preferences menu was not launching on the host computer when the computer was running macOS 15 Sequoia.
- We fixed the Dekstop Shortcut creation dialog, as it could get stuck as ’in progress’, due to connection issues on macOS.
- We fixed the issue of the Antivirus module showing the incorrect information of being ’expired’.
What's new in the desktop app (2024.05.4066 - Client App) - June 12, 2024
- The dialog box that appears when the user reinstalls GoToMyPC, asking the user whether they want to re-register the host computer is now available for macOS too.
- We fixed an issue where the installation process for a new version would fail if an earlier version was already installed.
- We fixed an issue where the Antivirus status was shown as ‘expired’ when GoToMyPC was reinstalled.
- This release contains bug fixes and minor updates on the product’s appearance for an improved user experience.

What's new in the desktop app (2024.02.4000 - Client App) - February 23, 2024
- Fixed an issue when Fast User Switching was used on Windows, which resulted in GoToMyPC closing unexpectedly.
- Reduced the size of the installer package by 67% – it is now faster to download and upgrade to newer versions of GoToMyPC.

What's new in the desktop app (2024.01.3990 - Client App) - January 31, 2024
- Fixed an issue where the GoToMyPC Remote Viewer on Mac computers did not close automatically at the end of a session.
- Fixed an issue that continuously restarted the GoTo Antivirus (g2avrs.exe) on Windows computers.
What's new in the desktop app (2023.12.3964 - Pop-up Fix) - December 19, 2023
- Fixed an issue that caused multiple blank pop-up windows appearing on macOS.
What's new in the desktop app (2023.11.3944 - Disconnection Fix) - December 1, 2023
- Fixed an issue where users experienced abrupt disconnections at session starts. These disconnections happened when users signed in from a Windows host, or when screen sharing stopped working due to screen blanking.
- Fixed an issue where users were unable to establish a connection, due to earlier interruptions of their sessions.
What's new in the desktop app (2023.09.3854 - Client App) - September 20, 2023
- Updated printer driver. We have updated the printer driver of GoToMyPC from NovaPDF v8 to v11 to improve the printer-related performance of GoToMyPC.
- Pop-up window fixes
- We have fixed an issue where the GoToMyPC Host preference window did not show when it was seleceted from the GoToMyPC preference menu on macOS Ventura.
- Additionally, we have fixed an issue where the Client App promotion window popped up repeatedly, even when the ’Don’t show me again’ option was selected.
- Fixed an issue where the shared clipboard feature (Preferences>Viewer>Copy/paste between computers) got disabled after each and every session, even if it was enabled by the host.
- Fixed an issue where the Experience Optimizer feature changed the host computer’s screen resolution unexpectedly. From now on, even if another resolution is selected by the Experience optimizer during a session, the original screen resolution is restored once a session is over.
What's new in the desktop app (2023.07.3818 - Client App) - July 26, 2023
- Added pop up message about client desktop app download.When a remote session ends, GoToMyPC shows a message, that offers users to download the desktop version of GoToMyPC, highlighting its benefits and advantages.
- We have also added a tooltip message to the ’Download client app’ button. The message tells our users that once the download is done, they should check the Download folder of their computer and install the GoToMyPC Client App. The tooltip appears when the user hovers their mouse over the ’Download ClientApp’ button on the download dialog window.
- Added one liner messages for environmental consciousness. To promote green and sustainable work and messaging, GoToMyPC displays messages while opening up a session. For example: ’Thanks for reducing your carbon footprint by connecting remotely!’.

What's new in the desktop app (2023.06.3786 - MacHost) - June 21, 2023
- We have improved the experience of using the screen sharing feature of GoToMyPC on macOS.The clipboard feature is now fully functional, plus we solved issues of blank screens and session interruptions.
- We fixed an issue when GoToMyPC had troubles launching on the latest macOS versions (related to macOS 12, 13).
- This release also introduces minor bug fixes and performance improvements.
What's new in the desktop app (2023.05.3746 - SoundDisable) - May 23, 2023
- We have improved the Experience Optimizer feature. If there is a new session available on the Client computer’s Viewer, a red dot is now shown on the menu bar. Moreover, we have redesigned the look and feel of the dropdown menus.
- By default, the host computer does not send audio to the client computer’s Viewer. Users can override this setting at any time.

- Fine tuned the Performance Optimizer logic for latency and slow internet connection scenarios

What's new in the desktop app (2022.12.3646 - Security Center) - December 29, 2022

- Users can now set security time-out on Mac host computers running on macOS Ventura.
- Added a new multi-monitor icon to the GoToMyPC viewer to enable multi-monitor mode.

What's new in the web app
WBU (September 1.0) - September 12, 2024
- The new Connect In Browser feature is introduced in GoToMyPC. This allows users to start remote sessions directly from a web browser, without a need to download a native viewer app. Previously, users could only connect via the "Connect" button, which required downloading the GoToMyPC viewer app on Windows or Mac computers. The new "Connect in Browser" option eliminates this requirement, making it possible to connect from any operating system. Learn more.

- Customers on a monthly payment plan can now pause their plan.

WBU (Mar 1.0) - March 15, 2024
- Users are now able to add additional computers to their list of host computers, when they reach their maximum number of allowed computers. Upon the next initiated session with a freely added computer, users will have the option to purchase a plan that suits their needs, and use the recently added computer again.
- When connecting to a host computer, GoToMyPC now detects if a new update is available for the available host computers.
WBU (Feb 1.0) - February 22, 2024
- Status notifications. Customers are now notified of maintenance announcements in the form of a light yellow banner, that appears on top of their GoToMyPC screen.
- Updated user workflow for customers with expired plans. When they log in to GoToMyPC, customers are now informed if their plan has expired on the My Computers page, and they would have the option to renew their plan on the Plan Selection page.
- Added performance enhancements.
WBU (Jan 1.0) - January 12, 2024
- Change of company name and address.We have updated the name and address of two GoTo entities in our emails, receipts, and invoices.

- Email notification. Customers now receive an email notification both when pausing their plan, and when resuming to their subscription.
- Pause plan and resume plan buttons. Now with dedicated buttons, the Pause Plan and Resume Plan options are more accessible for our users. You can find it at the section.
WBU (Dec 1.0) - December 12, 2023
- Cancelling subscription is now possible via the GoToMyPC user portal. Users can cancel their current plan at .
- Pausing the current plan. If users don’t want to cancel their subscription, but they want to take a break from using GoToMyPC, they can choose to do so for either 30, 60, or 90 days. Users can pause their current plan at . At the Just need to pause your plan? step, select Pause my plan.
- Okta authentication is now available for Single Sign-On login.
WBU (Nov 1.0) - November 7, 2023
- We have updated the One Step Buy page, which now requires users to select a state from a drop down list, if ’India’ is selected as country.
- Fixed an issue, where changes to billing address information by the user did not take effect, and showed incorrect information.

WBU (Oct 1.0) - October 2, 2023
- Annual subscription plan with monthly billing is now available for Pro users.
- Fixed a logout issue, where logging out of GoToMyPC did not direct the user to the login page.

WBU (Sep 1.0) - September 12, 2023
- Introduced a new annual subscription plan with monthly billing. Users are now able to choose the annual subscription to GoToMyPC with the option to pay month by month. With this plan, users can save 15% compared to our regular Monthly plan.
WBU (Jul 1.0) - July 19, 2023
- Removed the single-tap approval feature of the Last Pass Authenticator. We also updated every text accordingly that mentioned the single-tap approval. The multifactor authentication feature with the Last Pass Authenticator is still functioning with GoToMyPC.
- Fixed a UI issue where text elements of a pop-up window overlapped with other graphic elements, and another issue where the pop-up window changed its size after three minutes of inactivity.

- GoToMyPC users, regardless of their plan, can now utilize all the benefits of LastPass Premium at no additional cost
- Starting from this release LastPass Authenticator is the only supported two-factor authentication tool for GoToMyPC
- IA administrators can enable or disable two-factor authentication for users belonging to their domain
What's new in the web app (WBU May 1.0) - May 9, 2022
- We removed the 'Ask me for install update' checkbox to introduce the automatic update feature for GoToMyPC for every user regardless of their subscription plan.

- This release replaces obsolete *logmein.com URLs to *goto.com for admin logins.
