In New GoToMyPC, while you are in a session, you can control the sound of your host computer. You can also set whether you wish to receive and hear the sound of your host computer on your client computer.
For this feature, you need to be logged in at https://console.gotomypc.com/, or if you are already logged in to GoToMyPC Classic, you need to switch to the New GoToMyPC site.
Important: Currently, the feature works with remote Windows computers only.
Note: By default, when the session is launched, the remote sound feature is turned off.
- In the GoToMyPC Viewer, select the Remote sound icon
in the top menu.Result: The remote sound feature is turned on. Now the host computer's sounds are audible.
- You can also allow the sound to be heard on the client computer. By adjusting the volume slide under the Remote sound icon, you can set the volume of the sound playing on the client computer.
- To turn off the remote sound feature, simply click on the Remote sound icon
again.
Note: The feature is available both in attended and unattended remote control sessions.
